I really enjoyed this post and feel like I should check out that book. I agree that any ideas that are truly well thought-out need an incubation period. The saying, "Let's sleep on it," has a lot of truth to it because sometimes the solution to a tricky problem can strike you at the oddest moments. What are your thoughts about trusting your gut and working from instinct? Anyways, you should also check out "A Whole New Mind" by Daniel Pink. It's about how right brain thinking and applying the human touch to your work will set you apart and make you relevant for the future. Hey crock-pot!
